If You Need To Withdraw Your Child

Contact your child’s school and ask if they have an official withdrawal form for you to fill out.

Colorado private tutors must have a state teaching certificate.

 

Hours of Instruction

There are no regulations from the state on hours of instruction.

 

Required Subjects

There are no regulations from the state on required subjects.

 

Keep Records

There are no regulations from the state on keeping records.

 

Testing

There are no regulations from the state on testing.

 

Immunization Law For Students Using A Colorado Private Tutor

The state of Colorado does not require parents to vaccinate their children who are educated at home by a private tutor.
